Zara Tindall combines high street and designer for chic outfit at F1 Grand Prix in Bahrain

[ad_1]

Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall were amongst the royals who attended the Formula One motor racing event on March 2.

As part of a trip focused around the event, the couple were pictured beside champion Max Verstappen’s car as they soaked up the atmosphere ahead of the race.

Zara wore a simple but chic outfit, incorporating several items from royal-loved brands including Aspinal of London and Superga.

The outfit showcased the effectiveness of simple contrasting colours, with a mix of smart and casual pieces.

She showed that a simple way to upgrade an outfit is with the addition of a blazer, acting as a light layer but also bringing a more formal touch.

Her exact item is the Tux Longline Blazer from ME+EM, which has sharp collar detail and cropped sleeves – it is currently sold out after being discounted to half price in the sale, but this Wye Twill Blazer from Jigsaw, a brand often worn by Princess Kate, is a similar alternative.

Reduced from £350 to £105, Reiss’ version is more affordable and available in most sizes – plus there are matching trousers to create a full suit look.

Zara pairs her outfit with the 2630 COTU trainers from Superga, which cost £70 and also come in a whole host of pastel shades, most of which would work well for spring.

The royals are often spotted wearing the trainer brand on more casual days out, as they’re easy to style with jeans and dresses.

Zara’s accessory choice is the Aspinal of London Lottie Micro Pebble Leather Shoulder Bag, which features a letterbox closure and gold hardware.

It’s part of an offer at John Lewis right now, and would usually retail for £395, but it’s available for £217 until the deal ends on March 11.

Underneath the blazer, Zara’s all-black ensemble looked appeared to consist of a floaty blouse and trousers or a jumpsuit, which could be recreated with the Finery London Tie Detail Jumpsuit, which has a similar shape.

The royal’s outfit is ideal for smart-casual events, and combines comfort and style, with the addition of the blazer helping to add a chic touch to a casual look.
