Keanu Reeves returned for another bloody and brutal outing as his unstoppable hitman earlier this year in John Wick Chapter 4.<\/p>\n
And following the film\u2019s box office success with over $430 million taken worldwide, fans have been wondering if John Wick 5 is on the way.<\/p>\n
However, there is just one problem: John Wick died at the end of Chapter 4. Or did he?<\/p>\n
The hitman was shown clutching his wounds but we didn\u2019t actually see him kick the bucket before Winston and the Bowery King visited his grave.<\/p>\n
Perhaps the idea of John Wick is dead and the man himself is alive elsewhere? It\u2019s certainly a possibility as franchise director Chad Stahelski spoke out in a new interview.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Speaking with the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the John Wick franchise director shared: \u201cYeah, Keanu and I have talked. Keanu, if you ask him right now, \u2018Would you do John Wick 5?\u2019 He\u2019d be, \u2018f**k yeah\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cBut then he\u2019d look and go, \u2018Well, what is it? I have no f**king idea.\u2019 That\u2019s all. Believe me. It\u2019s not like, \u2018We\u2019re going to figure it out today.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cLike, look man, we\u2019re going to do our other stuff for a little bit, but if I was driving in the car or if I was walking the dog and an idea hit me, within 30 seconds I\u2019d be on the phone to Keanu and we\u2019d be riffing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
In the meantime, there are more outings in the John Wick franchise coming sooner rather than later.<\/p>\n
First up is the 1970s set The Continental miniseries, about Winston in the early days of the New York assassin\u2019s hotel, which will be streaming on Amazon Prime in September.<\/p>\n
Then there\u2019s Ballerina, a spin-off movie starring Ana de Armas set in between John Wick Chapters 3 and 4. Reeves will reprise his hitman in this film set for release on June 7, 2024.<\/p>\n
