Ella has been gaining valuable experience and earning some extra money through Paperound, a website that links up businesses with students, who complete tasks such as market research or content creation.\u00a0<\/span>Ella told marketing group Student Beans: \u201dWhen I came across Paperound, I wanted to gain some industry experience with design work and I could see it was going to be an easy way to make money alongside my degree.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cHowever, now I have upped my price to \u00a315 an hour and throughout holiday periods I can take on more, this week I will have earned around \u00a3300.\u201d<\/p>\n More than a fifth of this age group – sometimes known as ‘zoomers’ – need to earn more than \u00a3300 a month for their extra job to be worth it.<\/p>\n Research by Student Beans found that 61 percent of zoomers have taken on a side hustle as a result of the cost of living increasing, including Ella.<\/p>\n Strangely, the side hustle with the biggest opportunity to make some cash in 2022 is selling slime, as it\u2019s cheap to make and is sold on average for \u00a38.55 per unit.<\/p>\n DON’T MISS<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Selling personalised mugs and glassware is also a way to earn some extra money online.<\/p>\n The average price for a product listing is just over \u00a322, although competition is fierce, with more than two million sellers.<\/p>\n Providing gift hampers are also proving to be a very popular venture, such as savoury cheese boxes or a collection of sweet treats.<\/p>\n There are only 14,000 sellers for these products on Etsy, with each unit selling for an average of \u00a318.<\/p>\n
