While Lily doesn’t seem to be a fan of Beyonce’s genre change, music legend Sir Paul McCartney certainly is.<\/p>\n
Paul, 81, has expressed his joy at Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s moving cover of Blackbird, the civil rights-inspired song he released with The Beatles in 1968, which is featured on her new album Cowboy Carter.<\/p>\n
In an Instagram post, the former Beatles band member, gushed: \u201cI am so happy with Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s version of my song \u2018Blackbird\u2019. I think she does a magnificent job of it and it reinforces the civil rights message that inspired me to write the song in the first place.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think Beyonc\u00e9 has done a fab version and would urge anyone who has not heard it yet to check it out. You are going to love it!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
