She is very strong. She\u2019s what a strong, courageous mother should be.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Toby was struck by a 2024 Ford Expedition being operated by a valet driver near the Opal Sands Resort in Clearwater, Florida, near the team\u2019s <u>spring training<\/u> home late last month. A very courageous boy,&#8221; Swanson added Thursday. &#8220;He\u2019s strong, tough, very outgoing. I think his personality allowed him to push through a lot of the struggles he\u2019s had to go through the last 10 days and get him through some of those longer days at the hospital.
