A Russian priest was reportedly arrested Saturday after announcing he would hold a public memorial service for Putin critic Alexei Navalny in St. Petersburg, Russia.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Grigory Mikhnov-Vaitenko was reportedly detained outside his home while on his way to the Solovetsky Stone, a monument located in Moscow dedicated to victims of political repression, according to The Moscow Times. Mourners have continued to lay flowers in Navalny’s memory after news of his death was announced.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Mikhonv-Vaitenko’s wife, Natalia Sivohina, also took to Facebook after the priest was reportedly detained.\u00a0<\/p>\n
