Pearl Jam have just sent rock fans into a frenzy.<\/p>\n

The iconic Evenflow singers have confirmed the existence of their 12th studio album, Dark Matter, and its release date.<\/p>\n

Dark Matter will be released later this year on April 19, 2024, marking their first new record since 2020’s Gigaton.<\/p>\n

That’s not all, though. Pearl Jam also announced an enormous world tour will be taking place throughout 2024.<\/p>\n

During this, they’ll be hitting Europe, the Americas and Australia.<\/p>\n

Eddie Vedder was ecstatic about the return, as he commented: “I\u2019m getting chills, because I have good memories. We\u2019re still looking for ways to communicate. We\u2019re at this time in our lives when you could do it or you could not do it, but we still care about putting something out there that is meaningful and we hopefully think is our best work. No hyperbole, I think this is our best work.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Bassist Jeff Ament agreed with Vedder’s comments, adding: “What Ed said about getting us in a room at this point, we felt like we were about to make a really important record. A lot of that had to do with the atmosphere Andrew set up. He has encyclopedic knowledge of our history, not only as a band and how we wrote songs, but as players.<\/p>\n

“He could pinpoint things we did on old songs to the point where I was like, \u2018What the fuck is he talking about?\u2019 His excitement was contagious. He\u2019s a force. I just want to say thanks for keeping us on track. I couldn\u2019t be prouder of us as a band. I feel so grateful for the fans, but mostly for my brothers and these people I\u2019ve made music with.”<\/p>\n

Tickets for Pearl Jam’s enormous new world tour will be released next week, but you have some preparation to do before that.<\/p>\n

Here’s what you need to know:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In order to buy tickets for Pearl Jam’s World Tour, fans will first need to register their interest<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Registration for general onsale is open right now, and fans can get involved by clicking this link.<\/p>\n

You’ll need to input your name, email address and post code before choosing your UK show of interest – either Manchester or London.<\/p>\n

After that, you’ll be sent instructions on how to buy Pearl Jam tickets when they are released next week.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Pearl Jam tickets will be released on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 10am<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

These tickets will be available from two main retailers – Ticketmaster and Live Nation. They will both go on sale at the same time.<\/p>\n
