There\u2019s nothing like a nostalgic song to transport you back to a special time and place \u2014 and now a new study has shown that music could help protect those memories for a lifetime.<\/p>\n
Researchers at the University of Exeter discovered that people who “engage in music” over the course of their lives tend to have improved memory and better overall brain health as they age, according to a press release.<\/p>\n
The findings were published in the International Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry.<\/p>\n
