That\u2019s a key physical thing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe emotional stuff, she\u2019s got the empathy and she could smell it out herself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The End We Start From\u2019s stunning first act explores how a real-life climate crisis might transpire, from a terrifying flood in London to a frenzied fight for food rations.<\/p>\n<p>Although real babies were used in key scenes, thankfully Belo kept them away from the film\u2019s more high-risk environments.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cIn many ways, the babies were very clear of any stressful, high-danger situations,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut the babies in themselves were quite challenging. You only get 20 minutes at a time with them, but they\u2019re so integral to each scene.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo that affected our schedule in a massive way.
