While we hoped for reconciliation we have decided to officially end our marriage,\u201d AJ and Rochelle McLean said in a\u00a0joint statement posted on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The couple, who have been married for 12 years, shared that the decision was made \u201cwith deep love and respect.\u201d Their focus now is moving forward \u201cin the healthiest possible way\u201d to co-parent their two daughters,\u00a0Elliott, 11, and Lyric, 6.<\/p>\n<section class=\"embed-widget embedWidget embed-widget--medium\" data-testid=\"embed-widget\"\/>\n<p class=\"\">In March 2023, AJ and Rochelle McLean confirmed that they were \u201ctemporarily\u201d separating in order to focus on themselves.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u201cThe plan is to come back together and continue to nurture our love for one another, and our family,\u201d they\u00a0told TODAY.com in a joint statement at the time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The couple started dating in 2009 and wed two years later in December 2011. They welcomed their first daughter, who goes by Elliott, in November 2012.
