So you\u2019d give into each other as long as it was a better idea.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>McCartney continued: \u201cThere weren\u2019t many disputes because we were writing like this [facing each other] with acoustic guitars. And y\u2019know I\u2019m coming up with a bit of a line and then he\u2019s following it up; just ping-ponging ideas. I look back on it and think, \u2018Yeah you were a good collaborator\u2019. At the time, it just felt good and we respected each other.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo sometimes I\u2019d bring something in and he\u2019d go, \u2018Well there you are, that\u2019s it\u2019. And it was nice. I just got the stamp of approval.
