Jessica explained: \u201cThis is because the minerals, fibre, vitamins, and nutrients that a balanced, plant-based diet provides help keep your gut microbiome healthy while avoiding the allergens and irritants that can accompany animal proteins.\u201d<\/p>\n

This type of diet can \u201chelp you look younger\u201d by packing your daily intake of foods with powerful antioxidants like Vitamins C and E.<\/p>\n

These foods can also help prevent sugars from getting into the skin which can \u201cdamage and destroy\u201d collagen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Collagen is what keeps skin from sagging, giving us that plump, youthful look, so it\u2019s important to avoid destroying this.<\/p>\n

Jessica has listed eight foods to eat to \u201cboost anti-ageing benefits\u201d. However, there are so many others that work in the same way.<\/p>\n

    It is worth noting that many people who have tried shifting to a plant-based or high-fibre diet have experienced uncomfortable side effects – namely bloating when making the change.<\/p>\n

    Jessica assured that \u201cthis is a normal consequence of suddenly changing your diet\u201d, as your body will be used to a certain type of foods.<\/p>\n

    You will just need time to adjust to the new ingredients you\u2019re introducing to your stomach.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
