The Princess of Wales will host a Christmas carol service from Westminster Abbey this year.<\/p>\n
The service will be a “moment to thank all those who work to support babies, young children and families”. A new image of Kate has been released to mark the occasion.<\/p>\n
Supported by the Royal Foundation, the event aims to “bring people together at Christmas<\/strong> time”.<\/p>\n Traditional and modern elements will be combined in the service which will encompass “people of all faiths and none”.<\/p>\n The star-studded line-up includes a special duet from Beverley Knight and Adam Lambert.<\/p>\n Westminster Abbey’s world-renowned choir will perform some of the nation’s favourite carols.<\/p>\n Among those giving readings during the service are the Prince of Wales<\/strong>, Emma Willis, Roman Kemp and Jim Broadbent<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The service will be given a festive backdrop in the form of sustainable, eco-friendly decorations at Westminster Abbey.<\/p>\n Guests will include people who work in early years and those who may have had a challenging year or might find the winter period difficult.<\/p>\n Read more: The event will be broadcast at 7.45pm on Christmas Eve on ITV as part of Royal Carols: Together At Christmas.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n[ad_2]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" [ad_1] The Princess of Wales will host a Christmas carol service from Westminster Abbey this year.
