A Jacksonville Jaguars employee is alleged to have stolen roughly $22 million from the team from 2019 through this year.<\/p>\n
Amit Patel is said to have exploited the team’s credit card program, using the money to buy two vehicles, a condo and a watch that cost almost $100,000. He was first employed by the team in 2018.<\/p>\n
He is also suspected of gambling with the money he acquired, bought cryptocurrency with it, and even chartered private planes and booked luxury hotels.<\/p>\n
