The Washington Huskies needed a late field goal to secure the Apple Cup and a 12-0 regular season record. Grady Gross nailed a 42-yarder to give the Huskies a 24-21 win over the rival Washington State Cougars.<\/p>\n
Heisman Trophy candidate Michael Penix Jr. tossed a pair of touchdown passes, both of which were caught by Rome Oduze.
