Liam Gallagher, Gerry Cinnamon and Calvin Harris are to headline next year’s TRNSMT music festival.<\/p>\n

The much-loved summer event is returning to Glasgow<\/strong> Green on the weekend 12-14 July.<\/p>\n

Other acts on the line-up so far include rockers Garbage, pop girlband Sugababes<\/strong>, and 1980s legend Rick Astley.<\/p>\n

Former Oasis<\/strong> frontman Gallagher<\/strong> will play the band’s classic debut album Definitely Maybe in full for his headline set on the Friday.<\/p>\n

He said: “Can’t wait to return to Glasgow Green next summer to headline TRNSMT.<\/p>\n

“I’ll be playing songs from Definitely Maybe as well as some solo stuff. See you there.”<\/p>\n

Cinnamon, the popular Castlemilk singer-songwriter, will headline on the Saturday after a four-year absence from the festival.<\/p>\n

He said: “Get hounded on the daily to do TRNSMT again, well hound no more.<\/p>\n

“On Saturday 13 July there’s going to be a big lovely summer sing song. See you there.”<\/p>\n

Superstar DJ Harris<\/strong> will then bring the event to a close on the Sunday.<\/p>\n

Courteeners, Chase & Status, The Snuts, Tom Grennan, Declan McKenna, Dylan John Thomas, Blossoms, Example, Cian Ducrot, Enter Shikari, Picture This, Baby Queen, The Mary Wallopers, CMAT, and The Last Dinner Party have also been booked to play.<\/p>\n

Festival director Geoff Ellis said: “After welcoming one of the best crowds TRNSMT has ever seen in 2023 we can’t wait to have everyone back for the seventh year of incredible live music.<\/p>\n

“We’ve created the dream line-up for a lot of our TRNSMT fans and there are plenty more acts to be announced – but we couldn’t wait to reveal festival favourites Liam Gallagher, Gerry Cinnamon and Calvin Harris, who are kicking off our biggest line-up yet.<\/p>\n

“Next year is expected to be a sell-out so get your hands on tickets now to avoid disappointment.”<\/p>\n

Tickets go on sale on Friday.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
