ITV’s Queen of Clean, Lynsey Crombie, has shared a clever trick to help households dry their clothes faster without using a tumble dryer.

As winter continues and the cost of living crisis worsens, Lynsey’s tip could help save money on washing bills.

The cleaning expert, who often shares her tips on ITV’s This Morning, says households don’t need expensive tumble dryers or dehumidifiers to dry their clothes in winter.

She recently appeared on This Morning and told hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary that she prefers to air her laundry outside, even when it’s cold.

The TV star shared that she recently dried two loads of laundry in one day. She said: “People are scared of drying outside this time of year… but, I got two loads dry yesterday.
