Well, another year, another metal festival with a killer line-up.
Takedown 2023 will go down in history as one of the festival’s greatest of all time. With Sleep Token headlining the powerful event, it was one to write home about.
The 2023 event was a comeback after an eight-year hiatus, but now they’re in full swing again, and Takedown Festival 2024 will not be slowing down in any way.
The first batch of artists for Takedown Festival 2024 has just been confirmed, and the iconic Creeper is taking pole position as the headliner for the Portsmouth event.
They’ll be joined by a massive amount of artists, including Hell is for Heroes, Shields, ‘A’, Dead Pony, Shields and many, many more.
In fact, the festival is now so large it’s taking place over the course of two days – so there’ll be plenty of music to see across the weekender, taking place on 13-14 April, 2024.
Takedown Festival’s Kai and Sarah Harris said of this year’s event: “We are really excited to announce today the first bands for the Takedown Festival 2024 line up! Now expanded to two days, 2024 will be the biggest Takedown Festival ever and we are determined to make it the best yet!
“We have been blown away by the support and feedback we have received since bringing back one of the best-loved events to the South Coast earlier this year, including three nominations in the UK Festival Awards, and we are delighted to see Takedown staking its place as one of the key rock festivals in the calendar. The line-up announced so far offers a great range of bands and we’ve got more exciting announcements to come!”
Takedown Festival 2024’s line-up announcement is thrilling, and music fans will no doubt want to grab tickets as soon as possible.
Luckily, tickets are available right now, and we have all the information on where to get them.
