Princess Kate’s favourite Superga trainers are sold at M&S and they’re ‘lovely for spring’

With many switching up their style as spring approaches, a pair of versatile trainers is a wardrobe staple.

Kate’s style is often praised for being chic and classic, and for casual days out, her footwear is often practical and relatively affordable.

Shoppers can now copy Princess Kate’s style with a pair of her favourite shoes which are perfect for the upcoming season, and can be bought from M&S.

The Superga Cotu Classic Trainers cost £65, and there are five different colours, plus they’re unisex so come in a size range of 4-11.

The trainers are a classic low-top style that is cut just below the ankle and made of breathable cotton which is ideal for keeping feet cool in warm weather.

The neutral white shade is Kate’s favourite, and she seems to enjoy the versatility of the colour, often pairing the shoes with casual summer outfits, such as a t-shirt and shorts or slim-cut trousers.

As the design is simple with a subtle platform, the trainers would suit most outfits and could be worn to dress down a midi skirt or maxi dress for the daytime.

For anyone looking for a bolder shade, M&S also has a lilac colour, or more neutral options of grey, black and navy.

M&S shoppers are snapping up the easy-to-style trainers, with some calling them ‘very comfortable’.

AshleyHarris said: ”Great value in the sale. Very comfortable and a lovely colour for spring with dresses.”

humphry commented: ”Lovely white pump, great for a wider foot. I have had this brand before and find them very comfortable. Looking forward to wearing them through spring/summer with dresses and jeans.”

The princess has also been spotted wearing trainers from M&S’ own collection in the past, and these Lace Up Trainers could give a similar effect but on a budget, or for an even smarter look, the John Lewis Flora Lace Up Trainers are leather and can be dressed up or down.
