Bristol Sounds is shaping up to be one of the most exciting festivals to kick off in 2024.

Previously, the event confirmed metal legends Skindred would be headlining the first day of activities, starting strong (as they mean to go on).

Today, Bristol Sounds have now announced Placebo, the alternative rock band who have sold more than 14 million records worldwide.

The rockers, who are best known for Nancy Boy, Infra-Red, Every Me Every You, and other top-20 tracks, will be hitting Bristol Sounds for their one and only festival appearance in the UK in 2024.

As if this announcement wasn’t powerful enough for Bristol Sounds’ 2024 events, the festival also just confirmed the iconic James Arthur will be headlining his own day.

The star, whose brand new album Bitter Sweet Love comes out next week, will be playing Wednesday, June 26, 2024, this year.
