How to look 10 years younger in 10 minutes – skincare tips

[ad_1]

When it comes to looking younger, women have plenty of options. From hair extensions and hair dye to makeup and cosmetic treatments, ladies no longer have to be content with growing old gracefully.

Some experts believe that a revamped wardrobe can leave you feeling (and looking) 10 years younger, while others believe that a healthy diet is the way to go.

Skincare is also absolutely fundamental if you want your skin to look youthful and refreshed.

Dermstore, a skincare website for beauty products, listed some ways women can look younger in no time at all.

In a piece entitled ‘How to Look 10 Years Younger, Instantly’, health and wellness writer Carina Wolff advised: “For tighter, glowing skin, put on a hydrating mask for 10 minutes.”

She quoted celebrity esthetician Angela Caglia, who has been in the game for 28 years.

Angela explained why this product is so beneficial. She said: “The nourishing, hydrating ingredients plump your skin to make it appear more dewy and youthful with the appearance of fine lines reduced.”

Dermstore recommends Peter Thomas Roth – Blue Marine Algae Intense Hydrating Mask.

Dermstore currently stocks SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Mask, which is described as “a deeply hydrating mask for thirsty, stressed skin”.

Cult Beauty said: “If you have dry or sensitive skin, supplementing your existing ritual with hydrating face masks can be game-changing.”

According to Dermstore, what goes on after your hydrating mask is super important too if you want to look younger.

Carina said: “Not all foundations are created equal, and to best downplay those pesky fine lines and wrinkles, you’ll want to choose a light-reflecting, lightweight, and luminous foundation.”

Makeup artist Kate Stromberg advised against pressed powders or full coverage makeup, as they can easily “settle into wrinkles”.

According to the expert, a silicone-based, medium-coverage, liquid foundation will successfully “create the illusion of a glowing complexion”. For an even more natural look, a tinted moisturizer with luminescent particles can do the same job.

Dermstore recommends Kevyn Aucoin – The Etherealist Skin Illuminating Foundation.
