The 2024 Golden Globes ceremony is set to bring the awards show back to audiences in a blowout ceremony televised after years of being marred by scandals and boycotts.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the voting body behind the awards, has now revealed the A-list stars they’ve recruited to join comedian Jo Koy on the Beverly Hills stage tomorrow night, January 7.

One standout presenter is Yellowstone star Kevin Costner, who is making his first Golden Globe appearance in years without Christine Baumgartner, his former wife who he battled in bitter court proceedings for most of last year before finalising their divorce just four months ago.

Fans of Barbie will be eagerly awaiting to see if the film will dominate the winner’s circle like it has the nominees list, while the cast dominates the stage as America Ferrera, Dua Lipa, Issa Rae, Simu Liu and Will Ferrell all join the presenter ranks.

Barbie is leading the list of nominees, tying with Oppenheimer as both garnered eight nominations and followed closely by Killers of the Flower Moon and Poor Things.

From the film industry, Nyad duo Annette Bening and Jodie Foster will be making an appearance as well as Hollywood stars Ben Affleck, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Banks, Jared Leto, Julia Garner, Florence Pugh and Spiderverse star Shameik Moore.

Representing the television side is 9-1-1 star Angela Bassett, Hawkeye actress Hailee Steinfield, Ray Romano, Gabriel Macht and Rose McIver.

Star Wars icon Mark Hamill will make his first appearance since revealing he’ll be leaving his role as the voice behind DC’s Joker after three decades following the death of Kevin Conroy.

Rounding out the presenters’ list are Amanda Seyfried, Daniel Kaluuya, George Lopez, Hunter Schafer, Kate Beckinsale, Matt Damon, Michelle Yeoh, Naomi Watts, Oprah Winfrey, Orlando Bloom, Patrick J Adams and Utkarsh Ambudkar.

Leading the evening is stand-up comedian Jo Koy as host, with the Filipino-American revealing to Variety that he was a last-minute addition to the evening as he only got the role two weeks ago.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS, in hopes of regaining viewers after the ceremony was dropped from the network completely in 2022 following a Times investigation that revealed the devastating lack of diversity in the HFPA voting body.
